Purse Organizer For Your Closet, Eliminate the Clutter

There are so many cute purses they make sometimes you want one in every color. Although it would be nice it is just is not practical. There would be too much clutter trying to store them all. Or would there? Many of us have several purses we change out throughout the year. Certain purses are just for certain outfits. Walk into any woman's closet and you will find a collection of purses. The collection is usually scattered every where. A purse organizer for the closet can solve the storage problem.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

You can choose from so many clever designs of purse organizers. Some are made just for purses. Others are ideas from creative people like you and me. When we become overwhelmed with clutter we come up with a solution.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

One of the best solutions I have found is the over the door shoe caddy. Hung over the closet door, this is great to store those little bags we like to carry. Each purse can fit into one of the plastic pockets. You can see at a glance the purse you are looking for.

The hanging shoe caddy is a great purse organizer for the closet too. With its deeper cubbies, large purses slide right in. These organizers are narrow enough you can hang two if need be. With each purse being in its own section the straps and handles do not become a jumbled mess.

There are purse organizers made just for the closet. You can buy wood ones or plastic. Some are even covered durable cardboard. Each organizer can be added to existing closet organizing systems. Most will fit on a shelf. Some are designed to sit on the floor. The option is yours.

One system is designed to hang on the wall. This unit is simply a strap with clips attached. Each purse is hung from a separate clip. You can add as many of these as you want or have room for. They are inexpensive. It is a cost effective solution to the cluttered pile of purses sitting every where in the closet.

Organizing your purses is simple with a tension rod. The same rod used as a shower curtain rod can be made to extend from floor to ceiling. Rubber stoppers attached to the rod at different levels can hold small "S" hooks. The purses can hang from these hooks. This can be put in a corner of the closet. The purses are off the floor and easy to see. When you buy another purse just add another hook.

There are many solutions for purse organizers in your closet. You can buy ones made for the purpose or come up with your own solution. The idea is to clear the clutter. Do what works for your lifestyle.

Storage Ideas to Use When Organizing Your Home

Is it time to start organizing your home? If so, the first thing you want to do is plan what storage items you will need to accomplish your task. We are talking storage items that can be used throughout your house. Let's take a look at several storage items that will solve those clutter or disorganization problems.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Kitchen

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Storage items for the kitchen include cutlery trays, drawer dividers, plastic-covered wire or chrome-coated shelves for the pantry, stackable plastic drawers for the pantry, baskets, crates and rolling bins if room permits. There are also the usual canisters and counter storage containers.

Bathroom

Storage items for the bathroom are plentiful and include wall hooks for robes and towels, shower caddies, two-tiered towel racks, small plastic drawer units, plastic baskets with handles, tension-mounted vertical storage bar, small decorative boxes, and the list could go on and on! A great organization tool is a shoe bag hung on the back of the bathroom door to store such items as soap, cotton balls, disposable razors, hair clips, and other small necessities. A Lazy Susan installed in the cabinet under the sink gives easy access to those items that are hard to reach. Plastic rather than wood works best in the bathroom.

Bedroom

Bedrooms need lots of shelves, drawers, and hanging space. Make sure your nightstands have at least one drawer for personal items as well as to stash those magazines and books that seem to accumulate. Every closet needs adequate space to hang clothes but also shelves for folded clothes. There are a variety of closet organizational systems on the market. You can always choose components to put together that fit your needs. One of my favorite closet organizers is a slanted shelf for shoes that attaches to the wall with a bracket. You will want several of these-each shelf holds about three pairs of shoes.

Create Order In Your Home: Maximize Vertical Spaces

Using vertical space -- whether that means hanging objects from walls or ceilings, stacking them vertically, or just standing them on end versus laying them flat -- is almost always a good idea. The smaller the horizontal footprint you create, the less cluttered the space will feel -- and be. In this piece, I'll explore not only the old favorites of stacking and hanging, but will also add what I hope are a few new tricks using this sometimes overlooked, but highly useful way to store things.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Store only what you need, use, and love

Hanging Shoe Caddy

I hope that this goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway: Do a thorough job of purging before you make, beg, borrow, or buy any kind of storage apparatus because you don't have to store what you no longer own. Plus, how can you accurately judge the kind, size, and number of storage mechanisms you'll need if you don't know what you're storing? First things first: know what you're storing before you buy containers or storage infrastructure.

But you do have to store what you decide to keep, so...

...that makes the post-purge period the perfect time to re-evaluate where and how you store things. Keep in mind that storage spaces and products must be appropriate for their contents, as well as for the frequency of use of those contents. The four main kinds of storage are:

* temporary: for transient objects such as the mail, newspaper, and car keys

* everyday: for things you use a lot, such as dishes, socks, and shampoo

* seasonal: for items such as holiday decorations, winter coats, and beach toys

* deep: for things such as your tax returns from four years ago, and special heirlooms that you want to keep but don't want to display

Hang it, stand it, stack it, rack it

One of the most useful strategies that you'll ever take into the organizing battle is the goal of maximizing vertical space. "Going vertical" -- whether you hang things, stand them on end, stack them up in a pile, or use hooks or multi-hook racks -- is almost always a stellar idea because it takes things up and out of your way, and it allows you to eliminate some horizontal surfaces, which are clutter magnets. The higher you can go with your vertical organization (without creating dangerous, inconvenient, or unrealistic retrieval requirements, of course) -- and thus the more wall, ceiling, vertical shelf, and vertical cupboard space you can use -- the smaller the horizontal footprint you'll create. The result? More space, light, air, order, and breathing room.

Let's look at some of the many ways to implement this principle of using vertical space.

* Love my cubby: Cubby units and lockers are great examples of using vertical space because you can hang stuff inside, put it on top, and maybe even store things below them if they're on legs.

* Book 'em: Albums and three-ring-binder-type books that hold such items as recipes, schedules, photos, household information, carry-out menus, CDs, and owner's manuals can store a lot of information vertically.

* April showers: Caddies and organizers that hang either on the wall of the shower or over the showerhead can hold several bottles on their shelves, as well as bath puffs and shavers on their hooks.

* It's the curtains for you! Shower curtains, that is. Use one with pockets sewn on the outside (dry) side to create lots of spots to stash lightweight items such as combs, cotton balls, barrettes, and hair ribbons.

* Can you feel the tension? A tension rod -- a long pole that runs floor to ceiling and is held in place by tension -- outfitted with horizontal "arms" and posted near the shower offers places from which to hang brushes, sponges, and towels, as well as buckets or baskets that, in turn, can hold smaller things such as soap and shavers. A pole like this can also hold plants, plus heavy-duty garage versions can even support bicycles.

* It's a shoe-in: Clear-plastic shoe organizers with a dozen or more pouches are great for bundles of socks, pantyhose, rolled-up belts, folded scarves, large pieces of jewelry, small toys, puppets, mittens, hairbrushes, and on and on. They hang nicely on either side of a door -- vertical space that's often overlooked.

* Shoe-in, too: Another variety of shoe (or sweater) organizer is the fabric kind with rectangular cubby holes -- in either narrow or wide styles -- that hangs from a closet rod. It can hold shoes, naturally, but it can also corral entire outfits for kids, shirts, pants, small games, mittens, hats, and myriad other things. When placed in a mudroom or at the door you use most, it can hold incoming or outgoing gear. The best part is, with its wide openings and no lids, doors, or other obstacles, even the most organizationally challenged folks ought to be able to put a few things away in this organizer's big, wide-open slots. If your household members are a little more disciplined, such an organizer can be outfitted with fabric drawers.

* Tie one on: Tie and belt racks consume zero floor space and can hold plenty of ties, belts, scarves, necklaces, bracelets, and lint brushes.

* The best little hook: Cup hooks rule! Besides hanging mugs from them inside or under a cupboard, hang a hair dryer from one inside the bathroom vanity, or hang your keys on the wall by the door you use most.

* Up and under: Suspend your wine glasses by their bases on tracks, either inside or under a cupboard, and mount small appliances under cupboards to free up counter space as well. Plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and boxes of zip-top bags can reside inside a door with the help of a special holder designed to hold long, lean boxes.

* Up and over: Over-the-door hooks and racks are super for bathrobes, coats, towels, clothes you plan to wear again, and fresh laundry on hangers. Some of these have a fold-down drying rack attached, which can hold damp dish towels, wet mittens, and other things that need air-drying.

* Chain gang: If you hang a length of chain (or a set of shower-curtain rings linked together) from the ceiling or over a closet clothes rod, and then hang 'S' hooks or clothespins on it, you've got a winning vertical storage idea for purses, hats, scarves, belts, and lightweight stuffed animals with collars.

* Clothesline the guy: String a clothesline, rope, or ribbon along a child's bedroom wall and hang art pieces from it with clothespins. Or, add one to a kitchen wall to hold photos, messages, invitations, and greeting cards.

* Those lazy days of summer? If you don't seem to be making much use of that summer hammock out in the yard, use it inside the garage. Suspend it from two walls in a corner, sort of near the ceiling, and use it to corral sports balls, cushions, canoe paddles, sleeping bags, swim noodles, or other light-but-bulky items. A smaller version in a child's room can hold stuffed animals, pillows, and large-but-lightweight toys.

* Double the pleasure: Suspend a second clothes rod from the existing one in a closet using two cords or lengths of chain to double your storage capacity for shorter clothes such as shirts. If you need to store longer items such as dresses and robes as well, suspend the second rod from only part of the existing rod and hang the longer items from the original rod.

* Shed no tiers: Tiered, hanging baskets -- typically three wire-mesh ones in graduated sizes that hang from a chain -- can hold fruit and vegetables in the kitchen, cotton balls and wash cloths in the bathroom, and/or socks and small treasures in kids' rooms. Tiered skirt hangers are also cool because you can hang many skirts -- on both sides of it -- in not much more width than it would normally take to hang one.

* Shelve it: Plastic or plastic-coated-wire shelf inserts can be real boons for your cupboards and closets. Just set one in a spot where you have a lot of vertical space but not much horizontal surface area -- on the shelf in a high-ceilinged closet, in a tall cupboard with no shelves, or on a standard-size shelf that could be better utilized if there were a "mezzanine" added. Imagine the precarious towers of objects that you'll eliminate.

* Straighten up: Another shelf savior is the vertical divider. Whether made of wood, metal, or plastic-covered wire, these make things that tend to topple -- sweaters, purses, and blankets -- stand at attention.

Go vertical by hanging, standing, stacking, racking, and embrace that vertical space.

Simple Ideas to Organize Your Kitchen

The kitchen is often known as the heart of the home. It is the place where we gather to eat, cook, entertain, and spend time with friends and family. As a result, the kitchen can become one of the most difficult rooms to organize and keep clean. Try some of these tips and time savers to organize your kitchen and simplify your life.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Countertops:

Hanging Shoe Caddy

o Clean your countertops and remove any item or appliance you do not use at least once a week.

o Keep cookbooks to a minimum and store away the ones you don't use on a regular basis.

Pots/Pans/Containers:

o Store pots and pans in a cabinet beneath or next to the stove for easy access.

o Place baking sheets, cake pans, pizza pans, etc. in a cabinet beneath or next to the oven. You can use a rack to help arrange baking sheets by size and those used most often.

o Consider suspending pots and pans on a wall or from a ceiling mounted rack to maximize cabinet and storage space.

o Store microwave safe containers in a cabinet near the microwave. Arrange containers by size and stack one inside of the other if possible. Throw away plastic containers that are no longer used.

Pantry:

o Store each item so that it is easily handy and visible.

o Group canned goods together and stack so that their labels can easily be seen. Discard canned goods and jars that have passed their expiration dates or are more than a year old.

o Place pasta, cereal, rice, and other dried foods in labeled plastic storage containers.

o Store gravy packets, seasoning packets, etc. in a small, clear plastic tub for easy access.

o Line up boxes with their 'spines' facing front (like library books).

o If possible, store the most often used items at eye level.

o Choose a lower shelf for paper storage and place all napkins, towels and plates together.

o Store heavy items, such as boxes of soda and juice, on the floor or on a lower shelf.

o If you have extra wall space, consider hanging up storage hooks, a hand vacuum, a bulletin board or other helpful organizing items.

o Purchase handy space saving products such as stacking containers, caddies to store foil and wax paper, and sturdy baskets for onions, garlic and potatoes.

o If you have school-age children, create a snack shelf of parent-approved treats.

Refrigerator:

o Designate certain shelves in your refrigerator for specific items. For example, use your top shelf for beverages, your bottom shelf for leftovers, place produce in its drawer, and place condiments in the door of the refrigerator.

o Delegate one day of the week to tossing out old foods. Consider cleaning out your refrigerator on the same day you go to the grocery store. Since you will be adding new items in your refrigerator it is a great time to toss out old food to make space.

Spices:

o Organize spices on a spice rack and place the ones used most often in the front row.

o If you have a shallow drawer near your stove, consider laying all of your small spice jars in there. Place them label side up so it is easy to view them all at once.

o Most dried spices lose their flavor in six months. Discard any spices that are older than six months or you no longer use. To keep track of the freshness of spices, write the purchase date or throw away date on the bottle with a black marker.

Misc.

o Consider recycling products to help organize your kitchen. You can label shoe boxes and use them to store items such as cookie cutters, candles, appliance accessories, etc. You can also use checkbook boxes to store items such as matches, batteries, and smaller items.

o Square containers take up less space and fit more efficiently on shelves than round ones.

o Place hooks inside a cabinet door to hang cooking utensils on. This will help to clear drawer space.

o If you have school age kids or someone who carries their lunch to work, create an area in your kitchen for lunch-making. Stock it with lunch boxes and/or brown bags, plastic wraps/bags, thermos, quarters and small containers.

o Utilize bins and baskets to keep "like items" together.

o Store trash bags near or in the bottom of trash can for easy changing.

By using some or all of these tips, you can be well on your way to a more organized kitchen.

Happy Organizing!

50 Ideas to Organize Your Home

"Organize" is a familiar word heard on many of today's popular decorating shows. Every family has its struggles with some type of clutter whether it is stacks of papers or a cluttered and cramped bathroom. In fact, the National Association of Professional Organizers reports that 80% of what we keep we never use, we wear 20% of the clothes we own while the other 80% hangs there just in case, and 25% of adults say they pay bills late because they lost them.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

If you have stacks of papers, frazzled mornings, or lost car keys, use the following ideas to help you organize your family and home.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Evenings/Mornings:

1. If you have rushed mornings, make lunches, set out clothes, and put everything you need for the next day in a designated area the night before. Have kids pack homework and books in their backpack so they will be ready for the next day.

2. Place your purse, briefcase and keys in a designated area every day so you always know where they are.

3. Decide the night before what is on the menu for breakfast the next morning. If the family is to have cereal, set out the cereal boxes, bowls, and spoons.

4. Make a "to do" list for the next day and organize it according to what task needs to be completed first.

5. Fill the gas tank the day before so you won't have to worry about getting gas if you are running late the next morning.

Bathrooms:

6. To organize countertop clutter, purchase a plastic tub with a handle on top. Place all of your accessories such as hair spray and lotion, in the tub and place under the counter. Take the tub out when you are ready to use it and then put it back under the counter when you are finished with it.

7. To organize your shower, buy shower caddies to place your soaps and shampoos in. There are numerous styles available in many discount and fine department stores.

8. To help keep your shower doors clean, buy a water squeegee (like you use on your windows) and place it in the shower. When you are done taking a shower just wipe down the doors with the squeegee and you'll have a clean and dry shower door. Many of the squeegees come with a whole in the handle, which is convenient for hanging it up in the shower with a suction cup.

9. Install a straight magnet in your medicine cabinet for tweezers, nail clippers, and scissors.

10. Store reading material in a decorative magazine rack. As you add new magazines, throw away the older ones to keep the magazine rack from overflowing.

11. Throw away items in your bathroom that are old or you don't use anymore, such as make-up, lotions, prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, old razors, sunscreen, and perfume.

12. If you are out of space in your bathroom cabinets for towels, roll them up and display them in a decorative basket next to the shower or bath tub.

13. Install hooks on the back of your bathroom door or wall space for towels and robes.

14. Use drawer organizers for makeup, jewelry, ponytail holders, and other loose items.

15. Place a shelving unit above the toilet for storing extra towels, washcloths, and other accessories.

16. Put a clock in each bathroom so everyone can be on time.

Closet:

17. Place baskets in your closet for laundry and dry cleaning.

18. Sort through your clothes and anything you don't wear anymore, bag and donate to a local charity. This includes clothes that are no longer in fashion, no longer fit, or clothes you haven't worn in a year. Also, get rid of those worn out and/or uncomfortable shoes you no longer wear.

19. Separate your clothes by season. If you have a tall closet with several rows of rods, place current seasons clothes on the lowest level and move out of season clothes on the tallest rods.

20. Categorize your clothes by purpose, such as work, casual, and formal.

21. Gather all unused wire hangers and take them to the dry cleaners to recycle.

22. Hang scarves on a hanger or scarf rack. Also, hang belts and ties on hangers or racks.

23. Use a shoe rack to keep shoes organized and throw out shoe boxes that clutter the floor.

24. Install hooks on the closet wall to hang up hats and purses.

25. Store clothes that you want to save in a vacuum sealed plastic bag. These bags pack down for storing under the bed or in a closet. Remember to save only the clothes that you think will be worn!

Kitchen:

26. Organize your cabinets into several categories such as plates, glasses, Tupperware, kid's plates and sippy cups. Place the plates on one shelf, the glasses on another shelf, and so on. This way when you empty the dishwasher, you or other family members will always know where everything goes.

27. Group your foods together in the pantry for easy access and to help you identify when inventory is getting low. For example, group together your canned goods, cereals, pasta, etc.

28. Place all packets (gravy, Jell-O, sauces) in a basket and place on shelf.

29. Purchase a spice rack that works best for your cabinet. Alphabetize your spices and place frequently used spices on the front of the rack and all others towards the back of the rack.

30. For all of those plastic containers and Tupperware items, dedicate one cabinet or drawer for those items and try to purchase stackable containers to maximize your space.

31. Save your countertop space for items you use daily. Only display cookbooks that you really use and if possible store your canister set in your pantry instead of on the counter.

32. If you have a collection of clipped recipes that are filling drawers and countertop space, purchase a three-ring binder in a color that matches your decor, a box of plastic sheet protectors (to protect your recipes), paper, and a set of dividers with tabs. Glue each recipe onto a piece of paper (use front and back of each piece of paper) and then place into a sheet protector. Categorize recipes (breakfast, desert, etc.), label the tabs, and place recipes in binder. Additional tip, if you purchase a binder that has pockets, store clipped recipes that you want to try in the pockets before adding them to your collection.

33. Do you have mounds of plastic bags from the grocery store? Place about 10 bags inside of 1 bag and throw the rest away. You can always get more the next time you go to the grocery store.

34. Get in a habit of cleaning out your refrigerator every time you bring home groceries. Dispose of any food that is no longer edible or your family is not going to eat.

Kid's Room:

35. In a boy's room, put a basketball hoop over a laundry basket for slam-dunking dirty clothes.

36. Place a two-compartment hamper in your kid's room so he or she can sort light clothes from dark clothes as they undress.

37. String a clothesline in your child's room and have your child clothespin his or her favorite artwork.

38. Hang a fish net from the ceiling to store stuffed animals, dolls, or action figures.

39. Add a bookshelf and help your child organize their books.

40. Buy the kids their own alarm clocks and teach them how to get up on time.

Misc.

41. Make sure everything in your house has a home. Teach all family members to mind their own messes. For example, if you take it out, put it back; if you open it, close it; if you throw it down, pick it up; if you make a mess, clean it up; and so on.

42. Put wastebaskets in every room and place several unused trash bags in the bottom of each one. This will eliminate countless trips to retrieve new trash bags and give all family members a place to throw away their trash.

43. Place a decorative basket on the coffee table to keep remote controls in.

44. Use a plastic caddy (instead of shelf space) to store cleaning supplies in and tote it from room to room.

45. Keep baskets or tubs for toys in every room for fast pickup and play time.

46. For kids' outdoor toys, purchase a weatherproof, bench-style storage box and store toys inside. Also, gather all outdoor balls and place into a large, mesh drawstring bag and store in garage.

47. Each night before bedtime, have all family members pick up clutter for 15 minutes. Make a game out of it and see who can pick up the most things in the shortest amount of time.

48. Create a family message center on the refrigerator or other prominent place and use it for shopping lists, reminders, calendars, and phone messages.

49. Make a master grocery list on your computer from a spreadsheet or Word document. Categorize the groceries into sections such as frozen, dairy, and so on. In each category, list the most frequent items that you buy. Organize the grocery list according to the way your favorite grocery store's isles are set up. Print copies and keep one copy handy for the current week. When you see you are low on a product or you're preparing your grocery list for the week, simply highlight whatever items you need. Keep the document current by adding new items and/or deleting items you no longer buy. Also, create a space on the document for Misc. items where your family members can write down what they need that is not on your list.

50. Create an in box on your desk for papers (bills, permission slips, etc.) that need your attention.

The goal of organizing isn't to make your home pristine but rather to make your life more calm and functional. Work with the above ideas and you will end up having less clutter, a simplified home, more quality time for yourself and your family, and improved productivity.

Tricks For Small Kitchens - 20 Ways to Find Pantry Storage Space

Cabinet manufacturers have responded to consumer demand for pantry storage in small spaces and kitchens. In addition, closet manufacturers have identified the market as a cross-product user of their clever storage innovations. Finally, the small kitchen owner is getting the attention they deserve. Purchased organizers are not the only way to maximize your pantry cabinet space.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Here are some great ideas for creating more pantry storage in a small kitchen:

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Re-organize to make a smarter pantry. Taller items on pantry shelves in back, shorter in front. Use baskets for bulky items and containers to corral small, misc. items. Adjust height of shelves to match the size of the pantry item and maximize the efficiency of your pantry storage space. Consider moving food items to drawers. More items can be stored in a drawer; label tops for quick identification. Install roll-out pantry drawers for easier access. Because you can see more, you can store more. Reclaim a closet. Reclaim storage between studs of wall. Take out the kitchen soffits to move infrequently used items above kitchen cabinets; make new pantry cabinet space below. Delegate pantry food storage outside of the kitchen: under the living room couch or out in the garage. Tuck pantry food items inside decorative furnishings, like a crock. Think on a smaller scale: consider a mini-version of a walk-in pantry. Take 12" out of hallway width for pantry shelves. Recycle wooden crates from wine, mount to walls as a shelf (can get free from wine stores or superstores). Make a skinny box on wheels next to empty space next to your refrigerator (same height) that can wheel out. Use over-the-door racks for extra storage on closet doors. For very narrow doors, take a hanging shoe pouch for over-doors and cut to fit. Purchase an antique or used furniture cabinet at a garage sale or flea market and refit the furniture for pantry use. Hanging up items is an alternative to using cabinet space. Install pantry shelving in kitchen where spices and staples can be stored out in the open. Hang pots up on a pot rack to free space up inside cabinets for pantry goods or keep inside oven when not in use. Put utensils in utensil caddies on the countertop to free up additional pantry space inside cabinets - flatware can be stored also in a decorative container on the table. Take a lesson from closet clothing storage experts and copy their unique storage ideas or even utilize their products for your food storage needs.

If you are looking for more kitchen pantry ideas, Everything Pantry can help. From deciding on what kitchen cabinet will fit best into your design plan, to choosing a pantry door or the best organizer, we cover a broad range of topics.

Western Metal Art

One of the most enduring images of the Old West is that of the town blacksmith. While his main work was in making horse shoes and farm implements, he also did the occasional metal art work for some of his biggest clients. He made thing like wrought iron signs for ranches, and for those who could afford it and had an artistic bend of mind, a few decorative items for use in the home.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Today western metal art is a genre in itself with both large companies and individual artists offering all kinds of metal art work designed to give your home the feel of a ranch house, even if it is in New York. With a range of themes from traditional cowboy home décor to the nostalgia of something you remember seeing in your grandparent's home, western metal art is making a big comeback. A few accessories can change the tone of your house or apartment or even just a single room into something different and nostalgic. With the materials and fabrication techniques available today, you have a choice between items that have the rough old fashioned finish or things made to more modern quality and finish standards but which still convey the western theme.

Hanging Shoe Caddy

Among the most popular pieces of western metal art are:

· Saddles and harnesses with intricate metal inlay work
· Kitchen caddies with spurs,
· Wrought iron picture and mirror frames
· Metal candle holders
· Horse shoe shaped book ends
· A great favorite is the barn star. Thought to bring good luck and prosperity, they are available in a variety of sizes, materials and finishes with various mounting and hanging options.
· Names plates and welcome signs designed to give the western look

Western metal art also makes for great gift items. Whether it is a house warming gift or a personal present, there is a range of western metal art to meet your needs. Personal gifts can range from large gifts for the home to small personal items like western themed specially made money clips, business card holders, key chains etc.

The range is huge and is limited only by your imagination. Anything of western origin that catches your fancy can either be bought of the shelf or can be made for you on commission. An internet search will produce hundreds of retailers and commission artists.

When looking for getting art specially made to your design, search for not just dealers or manufacturers of western metal art, but look for the specialty areas like art relating to cowboys, ranch life, the Southwest, horses, the rodeo and so on. People who deal in these super specialty areas will be extra knowledgeable on the subject of their specialization and will be able to guide you in finalizing your design and the materials to be used. Having a bronze barn star painted black will never look as good as a black wrought iron one.

And remember if you come across metal sculptures of cowboys, horses and other things connected to the West, this is art depicting the West, but not western metal art per se as these are not traditional form of western metal art.
